I’m pleased to be a contributor to this global bioethics consensus statement, led by researchers at the University of Oxford’s Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics and with contributions made by more than 150 international experts from more than 24 countries.

New article on the context and goals of the Australian intersex movement
Social Sciences journal has kindly published my peer-reviewed perspective on the context and goals of the intersex movement in Australia, as part of a special issue on papers from the Centring Intersex conference.
Historic grant to improve intersex people’s health and wellbeing
I’m excited to announce that I have led a winning bid for a Medical Research Future Fund grant. Work commences this year, and I take up a new part-time position as Associate Professor at the University of Sydney on 23 May 2024, to manage the project.
“Shaping bodies, shaping narratives”, PhD thesis on intersex, epistemic injustice and human rights
I have completed my PhD studies in bioethics at Sydney Health Ethics, in the University of Sydney School of Public Health. The doctorate was conferred on 29 January 2024.
Appointment to ACT government board
I’m honoured to have been appointed to the Australian Capital Territory government’s inaugural Variations in Sex Characteristics Restricted Medical Treatment Assessment Board on 23 December 2023.
